Tech will celebrate its 100th anniversary this year. No plans have been announced. In order to keep you up to date on any deveopments, we ask you to review and update your information on the Golden Techites website, www.goldentechites.org, as soon as possible.

We have identified the oldest graduate through a search of our database. If you know of someone older that 98 this year, please send us the person's name, date of birth, and any contact information.

TECH IS 100 YEARS OLD!

The U.S. Congress approved funds to construct a new McKinley Technical High School to be located on T Street, N.E. The new building was completed in 1927 and tthe students in the Rhode Island Avenue school were enrolled in the new school in September 1927. The first graduating class from the new school was in June 1928.

Principal Kortni Stafford is in the process of developimg plans forf this centennial commemoration. We will keep you informed of any developments In the meantime, please let any graduates with whom you stay in touch know about the upcoming celebration.
